Do NOT get discouraged by this subreddit or SDN. I've seen some people expressing that this sub and SDN have been kinda discouraging. I felt the exact same way and thus wanted to provide a little bit of advice. R/premed and SDN are extremely useful when you're getting tips, learning different ECs to do, how to strengthen your app etc.Consider majoring in whatever interests you and will keep you engaged and motivated during undergrad. Medical schools want students who are authentic with genuine interests, so it’s best to major in what you want, not what you think they want. Just make sure you fulfill the prerequisite coursework for the schools you want to apply to.
